Chapter Meeting Minutes

·        The meeting began at 12:00 Noon (IN time)

Presiding Officer

·        Carl Phillips, Secretary

Club Business

• Carl Phillips spoke about the club by laws and where our club is at the present time with the election of officers and their time in office. Carl praised the founding members for bringing the club to where it is today, and without their leadership and hard work none of our actives would have been as successful as they were without them.
• A motion was made to hold elections and seconded.
• A motion was made to nominate Jac Padgett for President, declined by Jac.
• A Motion was made to nominate Michael Price (Mic) for President and seconded.
• A motion to close nominations was made and seconded.
• A vote was taken by a show of hands for Michael Price for President, Mic is our new President.
• At this point Carl Phillips turned the floor over to Mic to run the remainder of the meeting.
• A motion to nominate Carl Phillips for Secretary was made, but declined by Carl
• A motion to nominate Mike Grayless for Secretary was made, but declined by Mike.
• A motion to nominate Kim Maxwell for Secretary was made and seconded.
•  A motion to close nominations was made and a vote was taken by a show of hands, Kim Maxwell is our new Secretary.
• A motion was made to nominate Jerry Nelson for Treasurer and seconded.
• A motion to close nominations was made and a vote was taken by a show of hands, Jerry Nelson is our new Treasurer.
• Mic stated that he would like to keep the meetings short and start them on time.
• Events discussed were the V2V run, Poker Run on 12 July, Great Lakes Meet 11, 12, 13 July
• Kyle Petty Jacket
• A committee to head up the Poker Run was appointed and the members are Sheri Unger, Pam Price, Mike Reinhart, and Bill Trout.
• A motion was made to try and have our own T Shirt for the Great Lakes Ride, idea referred to the committee.
• The idea of having rides on only one day a month was discussed, and tabled for further discussion.
• Membership Dues are due and are $5.00 each

·        Treasure Report balance $11.50
